In his first season with the Big Red, Lee rowed in the fourth varsity eight that finished in sixth place overall at the 2014 Eastern Sprints.

Prior to Cornell
Lee rowed as a member of the Mercer Junior Rowing Club, where he served as captain of the varsity squad during the 2012-13 season. He won the junior eight at the 2012 Navy Day Regatta and placed first in the eight at the 2013 Saratoga Invitational Regatta. He also earned a sixth place finish in the eight at the 2012 USRowing Youth National Championship, before taking fifth place in the eight at the 2013 USRowing Club National Championships. Lee was also selected to participate at the Junior National Team Development camp in 2011 and 2012,

Timothy Alexander Lee is the son of Mark and Maddie Lee. He is enrolled in the School of Hotel Administration.
