As a senior (2020)

• Named Ivy League Player of the Week for Feb. 24 following a week in which she hit .667 over five games with 10 hits in 15 at-bats.
• Made nine starts for the Big Red at first base during a shortened season.
• Led the team with a .483 batting average on 14-of-29 hitting, including six extra-base hits with four doubles and two home runs.
• Finished second on the team with six RBI.
• Closes career with 26 home runs, ranking fifth in program history.
 

As a junior (2019)

• Named to the All-Ivy second team after hitting .307 with a team-high eight home runs and 29 RBI while starting all 46 contests. 
• Scored 19 runs and slugged a team-best .540 for the season. 
• Her 29 RBI ranked third in the Ivy League and her eight home runs was second, including an Ivy-best seven of them in conference play. 
• Was 3-for-4 with a pair of home runs and six RBI in game one against Brown and slammed a walk-off three-run shot to claim a series win over Princeton. 
• Went 3-for-4 with a double, home run and three RBI at Morgan State.
• Also had three-hit games against Sacred Heart and Colgate.
• Had seven multi-hit and eight multi-RBI games during the season.
 

As a sophomore (2018)

• Batted .224 with six home runs and 20 RBI in 38 games (37 starts).
• Added five doubles and 12 runs scored while fielding at a .987 clip at first base.
• Her six home runs was tied for ninth-best in the Ivy League.
• Blasted a walk-off grand slam in the season-opening win against Bethune-Cookman.
• Went 3-for-3 with two homers, three RBI and two runs scored at Bucknell.
• Homered twice at Colgate, going 2-for-4.
• Also hit a home run at Yale.
• Was 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI in the series-opening win at Princeton.
 

As a freshman (2017)

• Tied for the league lead in home runs (10) and was fifth in RBI (30) as a freshman.
• Hit .272 with a .574 slugging percentage, added seven doubles and a pair of triples.
• Scored 18 runs while starting all 42 games.
• Opened her career with a six-game hit streak, homering in her first collegiate at bat against Long Island.
• Posted six multi-hit games.
• Had a walk-off home run in game two against Penn to give Cornell a 9-7 win.
• Was 3-for-4 with two home runs, five RBI and a pair of runs scored while also walking in a win over Siena.
• Went 3-for-5 with a double at Columbia.
• Walked and doubled in two runs as part of a Big Red sixth-inning rally from down 6-0 to top Princeton, 9-7.
 

Prior to Cornell

• Rooney was a three-time all-league and all-section pick while playing at John Jay Senior HS.
• Was part of two league and sectional championship teams.
• She served as team captain as a senior.
• She also captained the TC Tremors 3n2 Gold club team.
 

Personal

• Bridgette Elizabeth Rooney is the daughter of Paul and Susan Rooney and has a younger sister and brother.
• She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
