As a senior (2014)
Villalon hit .284 with six doubles, two home runs and 19 RBI while starting all 37 games in which she played as a senior. She had career highs in walks (14) while posting seven multi-hit games. Villalon slammed home runs against Ivy champ Dartmouth and Princeton and went 2-for-3 with two walks against George Washington. She had three hits, including a double, against Army and blasted a home run late in the season at Princeton. She drove in at least two runs in four different games.
As a junior (2013)
Villalon was a second-team All-Ivy pick after finishing the year ranked among the Ivy leaders in doubles (second, 18), RBI (fifth, 34), total bases (fifth, 87), hits (eighth, 49) and slugging percentage (eighth, .596) during her junior campaign. She led the squad in games played, games started, doubles and RBI and ranked third in batting average (.336) and home runs (six).Her 18 doubles ranks second on the school's single season list. Villalon had 14 multi-hit games, including a 4-for-4 day with a double and a home run against Yale. She had seven RBI in consecutive games against Ivy champ Penn and had two doubles in four different games.
As a sophomore (2012)
Villalon batted .248 with six doubles and two home runs to go along with 17 RBI and seven runs scored in 36 contests, including 34 starts. She batted .311 with 13 RBI in 14 Ivy games, posting a solid .367 on-base percentage. Villalon posted seven multi-hit games during the season, including in three straight Ivy games against Penn and Princeton. She was especially outstanding in consecutive games at Princeton, going 4-for-9 with a double and five RBI. Villalon slammed a three-run home run to propel the Big Red from a 5-0 deficit to an 8-6 win over Yale. She was 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles at George Mason.
As a freshman (2011)
Villalon batted .295 with five doubles, four home runs and 18 RBI while playing in 44 contests (43 starts). She ranked among the team leaders with her .464 slugging and .378 on-base percentage, helping her score 14 runs.She opened her college career with a bang, hitting a home run in her first collegiate contest at George Mason. She notched eight multi-hit games, including a dominating 6-for-6 doubleheader against Dartmouth with a home run, two runs scored and two RBI. She was 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI at George Washington. Villalon was even better in Ivy League play, hitting .370 with a double, two home runs and eight runs driven in and scored. She posted a .442 on-base percentage in conference play.
At Tuloso-Midway HS
Villalon holds the school season and career records for home runs at Tuloso-Midway HS. A four-year starter at catcher, she was a two-year captain and first-team all-district pick. Villalon was a second-team All-South Texas honoree as a senior and was picked as an alternate for the Texas 4A-5A All-Star Game. She was a three-time academic all-district selection and a first-team academic all-state pick as a senior. Villalon's Tuloso-Midway team finished unbeaten in district play to claim the title and was an area finalist in 2010.
Personal
Christina Ann Villalon is the daughter of Alvaro and Judy Villalon and has two brothers. Her father and uncle, Eulalio, each played collegiate baseball at Texas Lutheran. She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
