At Cornell
Nicole Osovski enters her third year as an assistant coach with the Big Red. She has played an instrumental role in helping Cornell rebuild into a championship program over her first two seasons in both development and recruiting.

The Big Red increased its wins total by four games and doubled its Ivy League win total in year two despite fielding one of the youngest teams in the conference in 2017. Osovski’s work with a young pitching staff that had three freshmen and four underclassmen was laudable, helping Cornell lower its team ERA more than a run and a half over 2016.

Prior to Cornell
Osovski spent two years on the staff at Rochester, helping the team to a 61-27 record (20-4 in Liberty League) with one regular season and two conference tournament titles. The 2014 squad made it to the Division III World Series and she was part of the Northeast Region Coaching Staff of the Year. Osovski spent the following fall as interim head coach while head coach Margaret Yerdon-Grange took maternity leave. That squad went on to win a regular season and conference tournament championship and advance to NCAA regionals.

Osovski was involved in all aspects of the Rochester program, from on and off-campus recruiting to practice planning and working with pitchers, hitters, and fielders. She is an experienced clinician who has organized and run numerous camps and also given private pitching lessons.

Softball Career
She spent four seasons as a member of the Hofstra softball team, winning three Colonial Athletic Association titles and was part of the 2012 squad that advanced to the NCAA Super Regionals. Osovski appeared in 77 career games as a pitcher and first baseman. She was a two-time all-state pick at Maine-Endwell HS, ending her career with more than 1,000 career strikeouts. She also lettered in both basketball and soccer, earning all-conference accolades in the latter.

Personal
Osovski graduated as a dual major in Elementary Education and STEM (Science, Technology, Education and Math) from Hofstra in 2013.
