At Cornell
Terrell played in all 10 games and picked up his first career start during a banner 2011 season. He ended the year with 10 total tackles, including 0.5 tackles for loss. Terrell also had an interception to help Cornell rally to get into overtime at Colgate. He made four sacks with a tackle for loss after starting against Columbia. Terrell earned time in seven contests with a pair of starts at defensive end as a sophomore in 2010. He notched four tackles and a sack during the season. Terrell made his collegiate debut with a tackle at Wagner, then posted his first career sack in the win over Bucknell. He started on the junior varsity as a freshman.

At State College
A three-time letter-winner as a defensive end and offensive guard at State College Area HS, Terrell served as team captain his senior year and helped steer his squad to the 2008 Mid Penn Conference and District VI titles. He was named to the All-Mid Penn Second team as a senior and to the 2009 East-West All-Star Team. Terrell is listed as a two-star recruit by Scout.com recruiting service. He also lettered four times as a member of the school’s track and field team and holds the school record in the 4x100 meter relay.

Personal
Emmitt Six Terrell is the son of Jeff Terrell and Dr. Tamson Six and has a younger brother. His grandfather, David Six, played football at Cincinnati. Terrell is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
