As a junior (2022)

• Registered a 6-10 record after appearing in 22 games at pitcher for the Big Red.
• Pitched 46 strikeouts with an ERA of 3.97 in 102.1 innings played.

As a sophomore (2021)

• Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
 

As a freshman (2020)

• Finished the season as the team-leader in ERA (2.33) with a 1-1 record in three starts and four total appearances.
• Pitched 15 innings for the Big Red, striking out seven batters and holding opponents to a .290 batting average.
• Led the team with a 1.40 WHIP.
 

Prior to Cornell

• Earned a spot on the all-state team and on the Michigan HS All-Star team as a senior at Detroit Country Day School.
• Four-time all-district and all-region pick as a pitcher.
• Elected team captain as a junior and senior, earning MVP both seasons.
• Helped the team to three district titles and three regional finals appearances.
• Captured the Blue & Gold Club National Scholar Athlete Award in 2018.
• Named team Rookie of the Year as a freshman.
• Was an all-academic pick in each of her four varsity seasons.
• Closed her career with seven perfect games among 12 no-hitters and 15 shutouts with 673 strikeouts in 421 innings in the circle.

Personal

• Gabrielle Sophia Maday is the daughter of Joe and Shannon Maday and has two older sisters and a younger brother.
• Her mom played softball at Alma College and her father played football at Michigan Tech.
• Her sister Madeline played softball at Emory.
• She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
