• Appeared in 19 games with four starts.
• Batted .111 with an RBI and four runs scored.

As a freshman (2018)

• Saw action in 10 contests with three starts, going 2-for-11 with an RBI and two runs scored.
• Earned her first collegiate hit and RBI in a game at Stetson.
• Also singled in a win at Delaware.
• Scored a pair of runs as a pinch-runner, reaching the plate in wins over Columbia and Princeton.
 

Prior to Cornell

• Contreras earned league player of the year at St. Ignatius College Prep after hitting .530 with seven home runs as a senior.
• The two-time all-conference shortstop hit .448 in her four-year varsity career with 169 hits, 126 runs scored, 76 RBI and 11 home runs in 117 contests.
• She posted a .588 on-base percentage as a senior captain, adding 14 doubles and nine stolen bases while scoring 45 runs and driving in 38.
• Helped her team to a fourth-place finish in the state championship as a freshman, hitting .444 on the year.
• Batted .474 as a sophomore with 14 doubles and .356 with 12 doubles and three homers while earning all-conference accolades as a junior.
• The four-year varsity starter earned academic all-league honors each season.
• Played one season of basketball.
 

Personal

• Hannah Katharine Contreras is the daughter of Ricardo and Debra Contreras and has an older brother.
• Her brother, Matthew, runs cross country and track and field at Augustana College.
• Her uncle, Mickey Wittman, played basketball at Miami (Fla.).
• She is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
