Biography

At Cornell
Junior (2008):
Joing Cornell for her first season, Tupino appeared in 17 games for the Big Red, primarily as a pinch runner and outfielder. She recorded her first career hit and also scored a run in a 19-0 victory over Iona on March 17, and on March 15, scored Cornell’s lone run in a 1-0 extra innings victory over Iowa. Tupino batted .250 on the season and scored eight runs.

Prior to Cornell
A four-time letter winner, Tupino helped lead St. John Vianney to state championships in both 2002 and 2004. She was named to the senior all-star team, was second-team All-Shore, and was first-team All-Division. Tupino served as treasurer of the National Honor Society and was also a member of the Spanish Honor Society. She was on the honor roll of distinction all four years of high school and had perfect attendance.

Personal
Jaime Christine Tupino is the daughter of James and Nora Tupino, and has two older brothers. Her brother Chris earned his bachelors and masters degrees from Cornell. She is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
