At Cornell
Junior (2007): As a junior, Campagnolo received her third-straight first-team All-Ivy honors. The centerfielder was also recognized being named second-team NFCA Mid-Atlantic All-Region. Campagnolo is known around the league for robbing her opponents of hits by making miraculous diving catches. She was second on the team with a .361 batting average while hitting seven doubles, a triple, and three home runs. Campagnolo was second on the team in stolen bases with eight.
Sophomore (2006): Campagnolo was named All-Ivy First Team for the second consecutive season. She played both center and right field as well as hitting in both the middle of the batting order and in the leadoff spot. Hitting .279, Campagnolo posted eight doubles, one triple, three home runs. She also had 27 RBI and seven stolen bases.
Freshman (2005): Campagnolo burst onto the scene her freshman season, earning first team All-Ivy honors. She got off to a hot start, posting a three-RBI game in her fifth career game against Drexel. For the season, she hit .316 with 17 RBI, three doubles and three triples. Her three home runs was good for fourth on the team. She recorded her first career hit against George Mason on March 6. A dangerous leadoff hitter who can reach base many ways, Campagnolo is also a threat once she is on the basepaths, going 9-for-10 in stolen base attempts. A fast, reliable centerfielder, she gives the Big Red range and a strong arm up the middle.
At St. James Catholic
Campagnolo played softball for the Guelph Gators, winning the 2002 and 2003 provincial championship and placing second in the nation in 2002. She was also a member of the Canadian junior women's national softball team which came in second at the Pan-Am Games. She was a multi-sport athlete at St. James Catholic HS, earning 15 varsity letters in five different sports. She was a four-time letter winner in basketball, track and field and badminton and won two letters on the volleyball team. She was awarded the Outstanding Athletic Achievement Award in 2003 and 2004 and was named the outstanding female athlete in 2002.
Personal
Jenna Marie Campagnolo is the daughter of Tom and Cheryl Campagnolo and has two brothers, one older and one younger. She is a student in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Cornell.
