2024 | SENIOR SEASON
Earned First Team All-Ivy honors after a dominant season on defense ... finished the year with 87 tackles (46 solo, 41 assisted), 6.5 tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks ... intercepted two passes, broke up five, and forced two fumbles ... recovered two fumbles ... was named Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week twice and National Defensive Player of the Week once ... led the Ivy League in total tackles and ranked in the top 10 in forced fumbles, fumble recoveries, tackles for loss, pass breakups, interceptions, and passes defended ... posted at least seven tackles in every Ivy League game, averaging 9.1 tackles per game ... reached double-digit tackles three times, including a season-high 13 against Brown (Oct. 26).

2023 | JUNIOR SEASON
Saw action at linebacker and on special teams in all 10 games, racking up 41 tackles ... made his first career sack at Penn, posting five tackles ... recorded a career-high 11 tackles at Dartmouth ... made stops in all 10 contests. 

2022 I SOPHOMORE SEASON
Played in all 10 contests, recording 13 tackles while seeing time at linebacker and on special teams ... made his collegiate debut in the season-opening victory at VMI, making one stop ... credited with three tackles in the win at Brown ... had multiple stops in four of the team's final five contests.

2021 I FRESHMAN SEASON
Did not see varsity action.

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Banbury was a three-time all-conference selection at Upper St. Clair HS ... the four-year letter winner at H-back and linebacker served as team captain as a senior ... named team Defensive MVP in his final season after registering 58 tackles, three forced fumbles and three sacks ... earned all-conference honors in basketball as a senior ... helped his hoops team to a WPIAL Championship and was invited to participate in the Roundball All-Star Classic.

PERSONAL
Luke Thomas Banbury is the son of Matthew and Lisa Banbury and has an older brother and sister and two younger brothers ... his cousin, Mason '19, played football at Cornell ... his father played football at New Hampshire and his brother is a quarterback at Hamilton College ... one cousin, Nick Reilly '13, was a varsity lightweight rower for the Big Red ... his grandfather and six uncles that played college football ... he is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
