Biography

As a senior (2016)
• Parker led Cornell regulars with her .344 batting average with nine doubles, six home runs, 21 RBI and 26 runs scored in 41 starts.
• Also led the team in the circle with a 5-14 record and a 6.52 ERA, striking out 58 with 16 complete games in 21 starts.
• Ranked among the league leaders in average (eighth), slugging percentage (10th, .561), on-base percentage (ninth, .413), runs scored (seventh) and home runs (seventh).
• Stood 22nd nationally and second in the Ivy League to teammate Rebecca Kubena among the toughest players in the country to strike out (once every 30.5 at bats).
• Hit better than .320 for the fourth straight season, graduating among the school's career leaders in average (.332), runs scored (123), hits (179), doubles (41), home runs (20), RBI (91), slugging percentage (.519) and on-base percentage (.398) while winning 17 games in the circle with 24 complete games and 19 career strikeouts.
• Posted 11 multi-hit contests, including a pair of efforts with at least three hits.
• Went 4-for-4 with a walk, a double and four RBI in a win at Georgetown.
• Was 3-for-4 with a pair of RBI against Columbia.
• Homered in her final collegiate at bat at Princeton.
• Also hit home runs against Yale, Marist, Seton Hall and two against Saint Francis (Pa.).
• All five of her pitching wins came in complete games, including three wins in a four-game stretch against Albany and Columbia (three games) that saw her go 3-1 with a 3.71 ERA.
• Allowed two earned runs or less in seven of her 22 pitching appearances.

As a junior (2015)
• Parker earned a spot on the All-Ivy second team as a utility player thanks to her strengths in the field and in the circle.
• She finished third in the league in runs scored (32) and among the leaders in batting average (.343), an all-time best for the .329 career hitter.
• She ranked second on the team with her 12 doubles and added two home runs and 20 RBI.
• She also saw significant time in the circle, going 4-6 with a 6.31 ERA.
• Parker struck out 41 batters with a pair of complete games.
• At the plate, Parker had 11 multi-hit games, including a 5-for-5 contest with two doubles and three runs scored in a win over Princeton.
• In the circle she allowed just one run and five hits over 4.1 innings of work in a victory over Columbia and scattered seven hits and one earned run in a triumph over Siena.
• Parker also ranked as the third-toughest player in the country to strike out with just three strikeouts in 134 at bats (44.7).

As a sophomore (2014)
• Parker was named first-team All-Ivy as a utility player in 2014 after hitting .321 with a team-best six home runs at the plate and going 5-10 with a 5.98 ERA in the circle.
• At the plate, Parker was ninth in the Ancient Eight in slugging percentage (.504) and led the conference in runs scored (35) while placing fifth in home runs and total bases (69) and eighth in hits (44).
• She ranked sixth in the circuit in strikeouts as a pitcher (73) while completing six games with one shutout.
• Parker embarked on a 12-game hit streak late in the season that included a 3-for-3 afternoon with a home run, two RBI and three runs scored in a win over America East champion Albany.
• She also had a three-hit afternoon in a win over Siena.
• Parker picked up a complete game win over Villanova, surrendering five hits and one run while striking out seven and hurled a two-hit shutout at Yale, striking out a career-high 10 in seven innings of work.

As a freshman (2013)
• Parker had an outstanding freshman season, hitting .322 with 13 doubles, six home runs and 31 RBI at the plate while posting a 3-7 record and a 6.33 ERA in the circle.
• Her team-best 30 runs scored ranked fourth in the Ivy League.
• She was also third in doubles, eighth in RBI and total bases and ninth in slugging percentage.
• Parker had 12 multi-hit contests, including three three-hit games.
• She was 3-for-4 with a double, a home run, five RBI and two runs scored against Syracuse and was 3-for-3 with two doubles and a homer with four RBI and three runs scored against Quinnipiac.
• Parker went 2-for-2 with a walk and a hit by pitch in her first collegiate game against Rider.
• She was 2-for-4 with a double, a home run and a walk to go with five RBI and three runs scored against Manhattan.
• Parker was 2-for-4 with two doubles and two runs scored in a contest against eventual Ivy champion Penn.
• As a pitcher, Parker struck out 27 batters in 83.0 innings of work, starting 18 of the 19 games in which she appeared.
• She picked up the win after scattering six hits and not allowing a run in 6.0 innings of work against Columbia and took home the decision after allowing just one earned run in 6.0 innings against Ithaca College.

At Miami Palmetto Senior HS
• Parker was an all-state selection and county pitcher of the year as a senior at Miami Palmetto Senior HS.
• A two-year team captain, she was a three-time all-county selection.
• Parker led her team to a district and regional title as a senior, leading the squad all the way to the state title game.
• She was 16-5 in the circle during her final season and was invited to play in the Florida Athletic Coaches Association All-Star games.

Personal
• Meg Charlotte Parker is the daughter of Michael and Robin Parker and has two older sisters.
• Her mother played tennis at Tulane.
• She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
