Biography

As a senior (2018)
• Named a first-team All-Ivy League pick in the outfield.
• Batted .409 with 15 doubles and 21 runs scored while starting all 40 contests.
• Elected team co-captain.
• Finished her senior season fourth in the Ivy batting race with a .409 average and her 56 hits and 15 doubles tied for the conference lead. 
• Ranked 48th nationally in average, 12th in doubles per game and was the fourth-toughest to strike out with just one every 45.7 at bats. 
• Had 20 multi-hit games on the season and a team-best 11-game hit streak during the year while reaching base in her final nine career contests. 
• Wrapped up her career in the top 10 in school history in doubles (fourth, 44), batting average (seventh, .352) and hits (eighth, 179).
• Went 3-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and two RBI in game two against Columbia, part of a series that saw her bat .500 (6-of-12) with two doubles and five runs scored.

As a junior (2017)
• Second-team All-Ivy League selection.
• Murray hit .343 with career highs of 12 doubles and 25 runs scored while starting all 42 games.
• Ranked ninth in the Ivy League in batting average and was fourth in doubles.
• Hit .384 in Ivy League play with a .548 slugging percentage and a .413 on-base percentage.
• Added a pair of home runs and 20 RBI.
• Slugged .469 with a .386 on-base percentage.
• Fielded at a perfect 1.000 clip in 38 fielding chances in the outfield.
• Had 14 multi-hit games, including five contests with three hits.
• Opened the season with a pair of hits against Long Island.
• Was 2-for-3 with a home run, two runs scored and two RBI along with a walk and was hit by a pitch in a win at Mount St. Mary's.
• Had two hits with a pair of doubles in games at Dartmouth and at Columbia.

As a sophomore (2016)
• Murray hit .283 with 10 doubles, a pair of home runs and 22 RBI in 40 starts.
• Had eight multi-hit contests on the year, including a pair of three-hit games.
• Was 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and four RBI against IPFW.
• Hit her first career home run at Saint Francis (Pa.) and also hit a long ball against Albany as part of a 3-for-4 afternoon with two doubles, three runs scored and four RBI.
• Went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI in a win at Colgate.
• Was a perfect 3-for-3 with a walk in four plate appearances against Georgetown.
• Credited with a pair of hits with two runs scored and an RBI at George Washington.

As a freshman (2015)
• Named to the All-Ivy League first team.
• Murray had an outstanding rookie season, ranking among the Ivy League leaders in batting (.370) and fielding (.991) while putting together an impressive .438 on-base percentage.
• She played her best softball once Ivy League play began, hitting .387.
• Murray posted 10 multi-hit games and drove in three runs in wins over Canisius and Morgan State.
• She set a freshman record and tied the school mark with three doubles in a game against eventual Ivy champion Dartmouth and was 3-for-4 in a late season win over Princeton.

At Alfred-Almond Central School
• A three-sport star at Alfred-Almond Central School (softball, soccer, basketball), Murray was a five-time first-team all-league pick on the diamond.
• A first-team all-state pick as a sophomore, she was named to the all-Greater Rochester team as a sophomore and junior and earned league MVP honors as a senior.
• She earned 14 varsity letters during her career.

• Megan Elizabeth Murray is the daughter of David and Karin Murray and has a pair of older sisters.
• Her father is the head football coach at Hamilton College.
• Murray is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
