As a fifth-year senior (2017)
• Hit .556 at two doubles, two home runs and six runs scored in eight games before suffering a season-ending injury.
• Was posting a .600 on-base percentage and a 1.000 slugging percentage.
• Hit safely in the team's first four games.
• Was 4-for-4 with two home runs in the season opener against Long Island.
• Had a pair of doubles and a walk as part of a 2-for-3 day against Bethune-Cookman.
• Had two hits at Stetson, scoring a run.
As a senior (2016)

As a junior (2015)
• McGivney hit .341 with a league-leading 15 doubles, three home runs and 23 RBI while starting 40 of the team's 41 games.
• She reached base at a .409 clip and slugged .529.
• McGivney walked nine times and was hit by eight pitches during the season.
• Committed just one error in 32 fielding chances in the outfield.
• Had 13 multi-hit games, including three-hit games against Canisius, Siena and Princeton.
• Her 15 doubles ranks tied for fifth in a single season at Cornell, paced the Ivy League and ranked 12th nationally in doubles per game.
• Had a nine-game hit streak early in the season, hitting .444 with six doubles and two home runs over that span.

As a sophomore (2014)
• A first-team All-Ivy League selection, McGivney hit .364 with nine doubles, three home runs, 13 RBI and 21 runs scored in 27 games for the Big Red.
• She missed the team's first 17 games of the season due to injury, but exploded upon her return.
• McGivney posted .591 slugging (fourth in Ivy League) and .451 on-base (first in Ivy League) percentages.
• She was even better in league play, hitting .389 with five doubles, two homers and a team-best .484 on-base percentage with a .630 slugging percentage.
• McGivney had nine multi-hit games on the season, including a 3-for-3 afternoon against Ivy champion Dartmouth in her return.
• McGivney went 7-for-13 with a double, a home run, three RBI and four runs scored in the final three games of the series against Ivy South Division champs Penn.
• She was 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles against America East champion Albany.
As a freshman (2013)
• McGivney had a strong season to build on, hitting .314 with seven doubles, six home runs, 22 RBI and 21 runs scored.
• She posted a .395 on-base percentage with a team-high six stolen bases and slugged a strong .496.
• She saw action in 41 contests (39 starts) and fielded at a .948 clip.
• McGivney had 12 multi-hit games on the season, including three-hit efforts against both Jacksonville and Harvard.
• McGivney homered in three straight games and four of five contests early in the season and finished the year tied for second on the team.
• McGivney was 3-for-4 with a walk, two RBI and three runs scored against Harvard and was 2-for-3 with a walk, a home run and three runs scored in a win over Boston College.
• McGivney was 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and two RBI against Syracuse.
At Earl Van Dermuelen HS
• A five-year member of the varsity softball team at Earl Van Dermuelen HS, McGivney was a three-time all-state selection while playing in the outfield, catcher, first base and pitcher during her career.
• She was all-league all five seasons and helped her squad to four county titles, four Long Island Class C crowns and four state regional finals.
• McGivney was a three-time All-Long Island pick, earning league player of the year honors twice and capturing county small school player of the year honors as a junior.
• She was a four-time all-division and three-time all-county pick, and earned a spot on the league’s all-tournament team four times.
• McGivney also competed on the field hockey and track and field teams.
• She helped the field hockey squad to three county and Long Island titles and a pair of regional titles.
• Her squad made the state final four twice, including finishing as state runner-up during her sophomore season.
• In track and field, McGivney was an all-league selection in the sprints and was part of the school record-breaking 4x100 relay squad.
• She was second in the county in the 100 meters and as part of the 4x100 relay.
Personal
• Michiko Eryn McGivney is the daughter of John and Yoshie McGivney and has an older brother.
• Her father captained the baseball team at Columbia.
• She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
