At Cornell
Junior (2008): Cheever started 24 games for the Big Red at catcher, going the whole season without making an error and sporting a perfect 1.00 fielding percentage. She recorded hits and RBI in four games. Against Wagner on March 22, Cheever had two hits and scored two runs, including the eventual game winner in a 8-6 victory.

Sophomore (2007): Cheever played in 20 games during her sophomore season. Playing catcher for Cornell, she had a perfect fielding percentage in 95 attempts. Cheever hit her first home run of the season in the Big Red’s 5-3 win over Lipscomb at the Stetson Invitational. She also hit one out of the park against Penn on April 18. Cheever notched doubles in back-to-back games against Columbia and Princeton, and also drove in two runs against the Tigers. She tallied 19 total bases in 46 at bats to post a .413 slugging percentage.

Freshman (2006): Cheever finished her rookie season with 16 hits, 15 RBI and four homeruns. She had three RBIs against both Niagara and Binghamton. Against Binghamton, Cheever hit a three-run homerun to help the Big Red to a 7-1 victory.

At Eden Prairie
Cheever was a four-time letter winner and three-year starter at catcher for the Eden Prairie softball team, which won the Lake Conference, Section 6AAA and Minnesota state championships during her freshman season. As a junior, she was named All-Lake Conference while captaining the team. She was a captain during her senior year as well and was named All-Lake Conference for a second time. She was also named All-Section 6AAA, her team's Most Valuable Offensive Player and was a second team Star Tribune All-Metro pick. Cheever also played in the Minnesota state All-Star series in 2005.

Personal
Nicole Marie Cheever is the daughter of Dan and Janet Cheever and has a younger sister. She is enrolled in Cornell's College of Arts and Sciences.
