Biography

As a junior (2016)
• May posted career highs in hits (16), runs scored (seven), doubles (five), home runs (three) and RBI (12).
• Hit .205 in 34 games, including 32 starts.
• Registered three multi-hit contests
• Had a pair of hits, including her first career home run, in a game at Saint Francis (Pa.).
• Was 5-for-12 (.417) with three runs scored and five RBI in a four-game home series against Columbia, homering in each of the two Big Red wins.
• Drove in a pair of runs with a double in a win at Colgate.

As a sophomore (2015)
• One of the team's top defensive players, May saw significant time on the left side of the infield while starting 27 of the 32 games in which she played.
• May hit .182 with three doubles, three RBI and seven runs scored.
• She closed the year with a 3-for-3 day with a run scored and an RBI on the season's final day against Binghamton.
• Was 1-for-3 with a double and two RBI in a win over Morgan State.

As a freshman (2014)
• May saw time in 16 contests as a freshman with nine starts and hit .111 with three runs scored and two RBI.
• She was also solid at shortstop in the field, posting a strong .969 fielding percentage in 32 chances.
• May picked up her first collegiate hit with a single against Delaware State and also picked up hits against Columbia and Siena.
• She walked three times and scored a run in a win over Villanova.

At Notre Dame HS
• A three-sport athlete at Notre Dame HS, May was a six-year varsity letter winner in softball.
• A five-time first-team all-state selection and two-time state Class C Player of the Year, May was a part of a state championship team as a sophomore when she was named to the Louisville Slugger honorable mention All-America team.
• She was a two-time captain.
• She hit a school record 25 career home runs and hit .525 with 13 doubles, and 12 long balls as a senior.
• In the circle, she was 82-6 with a 0.72 ERA and 1,009 strikeouts in 570.1 career innings pitched.
• During her sophomore year, May was 27-0 with a 0.43 ERA and 304 strikeouts in 179.0 innings of work.
• May also competed in basketball, where she was a two-time captain and a fifth-team all-state selection as a senior.
• May was part of a sectional championship team as a junior.
• She also played tennis for two seasons and was part of a section championship squad in her final season.

• Olivia May is the daughter of Craig and Nikki May and has two younger brothers.
• Her father played football at Dixie State.
• She is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
