Biography

As a senior (2018)
• Hit .350 with six doubles, two triples and a home run along with 10 RBI and 17 runs scored in 36 starts at second base.
• Posted a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage in 138 chances, the most without an error of any player in the conference.
• Had nine multi-hit games on the season.
• Opened the year 9-for-10 over the first three contests of the season, earning all-tournament accolades at the Stetson Hatter Invitational.
• Was 4-for-4 with a run scored and another driven in to help the Big Red to a season-opening win over Bethune-Cookman.
• Also had three-hit contests at Stetson and at home against Columbia, driving in three and scoring two against the Lions.
• Hit a pair of doubles as part of a 2-for-3 afternoon in a victory at George Mason.

As a junior (2017)
• Batted .246 with four doubles, two triples and 12 RBI in 40 contests, including 39 starts at second base.
• Posted seven multi-hit contests, including a 3-for-3 day with a double at Harvard.
• Committed just one error in 69 fielding chances in Ivy League play (.986).
• Upped her average to .286 in Ivy League play.
• Hit safely in all four games at Columbia, driving in four runs.
• Had a team-high seven sacrifice hits.

As a sophomore (2016)
• Batted .286 with eight doubles, two home runs and 23 RBI while starting all 41 contests.
• Struck out just four times in 126 at bats, ranking as the toughest player in the Ivy League and 21st toughest player in Division I to strike out.
• Posted career highs in every offensive category and boosted her fielding percentage from .918 to .960.
• Had nine multi-hit games, including a pair of three-hit contests.
• Was 3-for-3 with a pair of RBI against Central Michigan.
• Went 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and four RBI in a win at George Washington.
• Was 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored in a win over Ivy North Division champ Harvard.
• Was 3-for-6 with a double, a homer and three RBI in two games against defending Ivy champ Dartmouth.
• Credited with three hits in the opener at Binghamton.

As a freshman (2015)
• Kubena emerged late in the season, starting 25 of the 29 contests in which she appeared.
• Hit .222 with three doubles, a triple, 14 runs scored and 11 RBI.
• Ended the season on a four-game hit streak, batting .462 over that span (6-of-13) with four runs scored.
• Was 5-for-10 in three games against Princeton.
• Posted four multi-hit games, including three-hit contests against Morgan State and Princeton.
• Was 3-for-4 with a double, three RBI and two runs scored in a win over Morgan State.
• Collected her first career hit with a single in a win over Delaware.

At Oak Park HS
• Kubena was the league Offensive Player of the Year as a senior at Oak Park HS and was a two-time all-league selection while playing in the middle infield.
• She was named the CIF female student-athlete of the year in 2014.
• Chosen to play in the Valley Classic All-Star game for the West team, she earned most valuable offensive player award.
• She captured numerous all-tournament accolades during her four-year varsity career.

• Rebecca Marie Kubena is the daughter of Randy and Rosemarie Kubena and has an older brother.
• She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
