Biography
At Cornell:
A reserve for the past two years, Burns should see quite a bit more playing time as a senior. He had one reception for the team in 2007. Burns was also honored as a member of Cornell’s 400 club for the spring 2007 semester for achieving at least a 4.0 grade-point average. He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
At Locust Valley:
A varsity letter winner in both football and tennis at Locust Valley HS, Burns received all-division honors in tennis and was a two-year captain for his squad.
Personal:
Brendan H. Burns is the son of Douglas and Leslie Burns, and he has one younger brother. Leslie is a 1984 Cornell graduate.
