As a Senior (2015)
Resnick appeared in all seven games as a senior, finishing the season with 14 tackles, including nine unassisted and one for a loss. He also recovered a fumble.

As a Junior (2014)
Resnick appeared in six games for the Big Red and finished the season with 15 tackles, including eight solo hits. He contributed a 12-yard interception in the 55-0 win over Princeton.

As a Sophomore (2013)
Resnick again saw action in every game for Cornell, finishing with 20 total tackles including 11 solo stops. He also recorded one tackle for a loss, one sack, one interception and three pass break ups. 

As a Freshman (2012)
Resnick played in every game for the Big Red  during his freshman year, making a total of four tackles on the season. Three of his four tackles were solo efforts.

Before Cornell
Resnick played football for four years at Syosset, earning two letters as a cornerback and wide receiver. His team was the Nassau County semifinalist in 2011, and he was third on Long Island in interceptions that year. Resnick was also on the school's lacrosse team where he played attack and defensive midfield while also earning two letters. His lacrosse team won the Nassau County championship 2012.

Personal
Brett Evan Resnick is the son of Alan and Meryl Resnick. He has two sisters. His older sister, Nicole, attends the University of Texas. His younger sister, Erica, also attends Cornell and is part of the Class of 2018.
