AT CORNELL
As a player, Tierney played his collegiate career with the Big Red, where he lettered for three years (2019-21) playing offensive line. As a senior, he saw action in all six games, aiding in an offensive line group that only allowed 2.2 sacks per game. Tierney was named All-CSFL Honorable Mention following that season.
Following his playing career, Tierney joined the Big Red Sprint Football staff in 2022 as an assistant coach focusing on the offensive line and tight ends, in addition to overseeing recruiting and football operations.
