Playing Career
A four-year member of the Cornell sprint football team, Sitko was a standout athlete. The two-year captain was named first-team All-CSFL in his junior year and earned All-CSFL honorable mention as a senior. In addition to his league awards, Sitko was named MVP as a senior in 2014. A defensive back, Sitko totaled 122 tackles during his collegiate career.
Prior to Cornell
After graduating from Cornell in 2015, Stiko spent two years as an assistant superintendent at Westchester Country Club in Rye, N.Y.
Personal
Sitko returned to Cornell in 2017 to work on his Masters in the School of Integrative Plant Science. His research focused on non-chemical management aof amenity grasslands. He currently leads the Cornell Turfgrass Program's safety and performance monitoring of the natural grass and synthetic sports surfaces on campus. Sitko graduated with a Masters of Science in December of 2019.
A native of Pottstown, Pa., Sitko currently resides in Ithaca, N.Y.
