AT CORNELL
Huyghue was named the Terry Cullen '66 Head Coach of Sprint Football in April of 2024 following his two year stint as defensive coordinator of the program.
In his first season directing the program, Huyghue's team increased its win total by two games and was more competitive across the board as he and his staff worked toward positive culture change. Its season-opening 53-7 win over Molloy accounted for the team's most points scored and largest margin over victory in a decade. At the end of the year, nine players earned postseason awards, including four-time all-CSFL selection Evan Nicholas.
He also serves as a Visiting Professor of the Practice in the Cornell University Law School and the School of Industrial and Labor Relations where he created and teaches two courses: The Impact of Culture and Diversity in Professional Sports Organizations and The Art of Negotiation is Business and Sports?.
Huyghue was a student-athlete as an undergraduate at Cornell, lettering in football and baseball.
PRIOR TO CORNELL
Huyghue has more than 30 years of professional football experience in roles including being an executive, player agent, general manager, and also founded and commissioned the United Football League.
He has represented professional athletes, Olympians, and entertainers across multiple industries including Magic Johnson, Oscar De La Hoya, Ndamukong Suh, Vince Wilfork, and Snoop Dogg among many others.
