Ron Amato enters his fifth year as an assistant coach with the sprint football team in 2019.
 

Playing Career

Amato Graduated from Solvay High School in 1997 and from Ithaca College in 2001. While at Ithaca he earned All-American honors in both baseball and football. In 2011, he was inducted into the Ithaca College Athletics Hall of Fame.
 

Personal

Amato earned his masters degree from St. Lawrence University in 2004 while he was a graduate assistant with the football program. Since September 2004, Amato has been a physical education teacher with the Ithaca City School District.
