Willie Evans enters his 15th year with the sprint football team.

Evans is a 1979 graduate of Ithaca High School, where he played both football and lacrosse. He attended SUNY Farmingdale and was a member of the 1981 National Junior College Championship team in lacrosse.

Since then, he has been working in the Ithaca area coaching youth football. He currently works for Cornell in the environmental health and safety department. Evans also referees lacrosse at both the high school and college levels.

Evans and his wife, Mary, reside in Ithaca with their three children.
