Biography
At Cornell:
A three-year athlete with the program, Ortenberg fought injuries his freshman and sophomore seasons. After seeing starting time on the offensive line in 2007, he should start again this year. He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
At Crystal Springs:
A three-sport athlete at Crystal Springs HS, Ortenberg participated in baseball, basketball and soccer. After receiving second-team all-league honors in baseball his junior year, he was awarded first-team accolades as a senior when he served as the team’s captain. Ortenberg also served as a captain on his soccer team as a senior.
Personal:
David S. Ortenberg is the son of Charles and Patty Ortenberg, who are both Cornell graduates, and he has one younger brother.
