Biography

 At Cornell: Elected as a captain for the 2009 season, D.J. Schiavetta began his career on the defensive side of the ball, but has since switched to offense.  The move to running back was seamless, and Schiavetta has become a leader on the offensive unit.  Last season on September 27, Schiavetta led Cornell running backs with 50 rushing yards and a touchdown in a 35-0 victory over Mansfield.

At Bethpage:  An all-conference award winner in football at Bethpage HS, Schiavetta also played lacrosse for two years and hockey for one year.

Personal:  Donald J. Schiavetta is the son of Donald and Lois Schiavetta, and he has one older sister.
