At Cornell
First-Team All-CSFL (2010)
Senior (2011): Famularo had another great season, wrapping up his Cornell career by breaking the 1,000-yard career rushing barrier in his final game. He was the team's leading rusher with 347 yards on the ground and two touchdowns, and he caught 28 passes for 182 yards. In playing all seven games, Famularo was third on the team with 529 all-purpose yards.
Junior (2010): Famularo made strong contributions for the Big Red, earning a first-team All-CSFL nod in his first year as a starter. He led the team in rushing with 631 yards (102.2 per game) and had a team-best seven touchdowns on the season. Famularo carried the balls 132 times, nearly twice as many times as the second ranked rusher on the team, and averaged 4.9 yards per carry. He posted two 100-yard games on the ground and finished another two with 95 yards rushing. Famularo also made nine catches for 66 total yards, converting three for touchdowns.
Sophomore (2009): Famularo saw action in just three games during his sophomore season, but rushed the ball 19 times for a total of 45 yards (2.4 per carry). He registered a career-long 12 yard rush against Princeton. A player with great speed, he could be a dangerous weapon for the Big Red as he continues to develop.
Freshman (2008): As a rookie, Famularo saw action in four games. He rushed the ball four times for a total of 13 yards.
At Great Neck South
A multi-sport athlete at Great Neck South HS, Famularo won two varsity letters in football, three in lacrosse and also played j.v. basketball for two years. In football, he was all-conference pick in his junior year.
Personal
Douglas I. Famularo is the son of Henry and Marge Famularo, and he has two sisters.
