At Cornell:
Rossman has seen some starting time at tight end and also played a key role as a reserve the last two years, and he is expected to have more playing time as a senior. In 2007, his stats included one reception for 12 yards and one touchdown, two solo and one assisted tackle for a total of 3 tackles and one tackle for a loss. Rossman also had a score as a sophomore to go along with one kick return. He is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences. 

At Horace Greeley: 
A member of the 2004 league champion football team at Horace Greeley HS, Rossman also participated in baseball and basketball. He was the league champion baseball team’s MVP in 2005 and won all-league and all-section honors. 

Personal: 
John P. Rossman is the son of Glenn and Patricia Rossman, and he has one older and one younger brother.
