A two-time all-star and all-city selection at safety at Great Neck North HS ... served as team captain ... recorded six interceptions in his junior season ... part of back-to-back championship teams as a sophomore and junior ... also earned all-league honors as a senior in baseball, hitting .386 with a school-record number of stolen bases in a single game.
