As a Senior (2015)
Garcia appeared in all seven games a senior, posting 17 total tackles, including nine solo hits. He recorded a season-high four tackles in a win over Franklin Pierce, including a sack for a loss of three yards.

As a Junior (2014)
Garcia played in all seven games for the Big Red and had 10 tackles, including six solo hits. He made one interception and broke up two passes.

As a Sophomore (2013)
Garcia took the field in all seven of Cornell's games in his second season. He finished with 19 total tackles, including nine solo and 2.5 for a loss of six yards. He also recored one sack and a pass breakup. 

As a Freshman (2012)
Garcia participated in six games during his freshman campaign, making three solo tackles and assisting on two others.

Before Cornell
Garcia was a four-year football and basketball player at Half Hollow Hills East. He played halfback, receiver, cornerback and outside linebacker on the gridiron while playing guard on the hardwood. He won his basketball team's Sportsmanship Award in 2010 and 2011 and was named to the school's All-Academic Team in 2012. Garcia also spent a year as a attackman and midfielder on his school's lacrosse team.

Jessy Rafael Garcia is the son of Frank and Melvis Garcia. He has an older brother, Yvan, and an older sister, Shelika.
