Biography
At Cornell:
A two-time All-CSFL performer, Gonos should have an outstanding senior season and will be expected to lead a young defensive line. In 2007, he had five solo and 10 assists for a total of 15 tackles, 2.5 tackles for a loss and 0.5 sacks. Gonos also had a good sophomore season with a total of 28 tackles, five tackles for a loss, 2.5 sacks and one fumble recovery; while as a freshman, he had 19 total tackles, 3.5 tackles for a loss and one sack. He is enrolled in the College of Engineering.
At Wyoming Seminary:
Earning varsity letters in both football and baseball at Wyoming Seminary HS, Gonos was selected to play for the West team in the UNICO senior all-star game.
Personal:
James R. Gonos is the son of Robert and Jane Gonos.
