Biography

As a Senior (2015)
Bruhn appeared in two games as a senior.

As a Junior (2014)
Bruhn played in five games and made 14 tackles, including six unassisted. He had a sack for a loss of 12 yards and broke up one pass.

As a Sophomore (2013)
Bruhn played in six games for the Big Red, making 16 tackles including 11 solo stops. He also recored one tackle for a loss of five yards and broke up three passes.

As a Freshman (2012)
Bruhn took part in six games for Cornell during his first year on campus, making 12 solo tackles and totaling 15 on the season. He also had one tackle for a loss and forced two fumbles.

Before Cornell
Bruhn played football for four seasons in high school, earning three letters as an all-around player who lined up at seven different positions. Bruhn captained his freshman and junior varsity teams during his first two years of high school and was a First Team Valor Bowl defensive lineman as a senior. He also received the scholar athlete award for holding the highest grade point average on his team. Bruhn also ran the 400-meter dash and thte 800-meter dash on the track team and played one season of lacrosse.

Personal
Matthew Everett Bruhn is the son of Wayne and Betsy Bruhn. His older brother, Tim, played on the Big Red sprint football team from 2008 to 2011 as a wide receiver. He also has another older brother, Jeff.
