Biography
At Cornell:
After seeing some playing time as a junior, Gorring is expected play a bigger role in the defense this year. He had two assisted tackles in 2007, as well as 0.5 sacks. Gorring is enrolled in the College of Human Ecology.
At Wayne Memorial:
A multi-talented athlete from Wayne Memorial HS, Gorring was his school’s valedictorian and senior class president. He participated in wrestling, winning the team’s MVP award, as well as track, cross country and football. The winner of the Detroit Free Press Scholar Athlete award, Gorring also served as captain of the track, wrestling and football teams.
Personal:
Patrick Gorring is the son of Timothy and Jean Gorring, and he has one younger brother.
