At Cornell
Junior (2009)
Carvolth is known for his great speed and quickness, which allows him to play a lot of man to man against some of the better receivers in the CSFL. He played in five games during his junior season and earned an All-CSFL honorable mention selection. He finished the year with 10 tackles and ranked second on the team with four broken-up passes. Carvolth also returned three kicks for a total of 58 yards (19.3 yards per carry), registering a long of 24 yards vs. Penn.
Sophomore (2008)
In his first year of starting and playing for the Big Red, Carvolth did not take long to become an important contributor on the field at defensive back. He led the Big Red with a blocked kick and was second on the team with three broken up passes in 2008. His accomplishments earned Carvolth an All-CSFL Honorable Mention nod.
At Santa Rosa
A four-year football letter winner at Santa Rosa HS, Carvolth was also a four-year captain. He saw time at the running back, quarterback, and strong safety positions.

Pyrs D. Carvolth is the son of Richard and Noreen Carvolth, and he has two older brothers and one older sister.
