As a Senior (2016)
Jackson concluded his Big Red career with his fourth-straight All-CSFL honor, earning second team honors for his performance on both defense and special teams. Jackson finished the season with team-leading 33 tackles, 28 of which were unassisted, and two interceptions. He also finished third in the CSFL with a 34.4 yards per punt average after booting the ball 25 times for a total of 861 yards.
As a Junior (2015)
Jackson was named to an All-CSFL team for the third straight season, earning second-team honors, averaging 36.44 yards per punt. On defense, he was second on the team with 36 total tackles, including 17 unassisted. He also added a pass breakup.
As a Sophomore (2014)
Jackson played in all seven games for the Big Red and was named to the defensive All-CFSL first team. He made 20 unassisted tackles and broke up seven passes. As the team’s punter, he averaged 36.8 yards per punt.
As a Freshman (2013)
Jackson had a successful first season with the Big Red, seeing time both on defense and on special teams in all seven games and picking up Second Team All-CSFL honors at the end of the season. He punted 41 times for a total of 1408 yards, averaging 34.3 yards per punt and putting eight inside the 20-yard line. He also had four punts of 50 or more yards, with a long of 55 yards. On defense he recorded 28 tackles, including 21 solo stops, as well as 2.5 tackles for a loss. He forced two fumbles and recovered two fumbles, grabbed one interception and broke up seven pass plays - the most on the team.
Before Cornell
Jackson played four years of high school football as an outside linebacker, free safety and punter. He was a team captain in 2012 and a two-time Old Colony League All-Star in 2011 and 2012. His team, ranked No. 1 in the state by multiple Boston media outlets during the year, made the Division 1A Super Bowl in 2012. He was also a Jack Grinold Eastern Massachusetts National Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete in 2012. Jackson also excelled on the baseball field, and his Barnstable American Legion baseball team was state champion in 2012.

Ryan Joseph Jackson is the son of Patricia Ames. He has an older brother, Mathew, and a twin sister Melissa.
