As a Senior (2015)
Tawfiq appeared in three games as a senior.

As a Junior (2014)
Tawfiq appeared in seven games and recorded one tackle.

As a Sophomore (2013)
Tawfiq was the primary option at center in 2013, playing in six of the team's seven games.

Before Cornell 
Tawfiq was a scholar athlete at Irvine High, playing football and basketball, whie also throwing for the track and field team. He was a two-year letter winner for football as both a center and defensive lineman. He was also named to Irvine's honor roll. 

Personal 
Yosouf Tawfiq is the son of Mahboub Saferzadeh and Roya Eradat. He has a younger brothr, Solimon, and a younger sister, Yasamin.
