2026 I FRESHMAN SEASON
Named first-team All-Ivy... first Cornellian to be named to the NFCA Freshman Top-25 list... second-team NFCA All-Region... hit .450 across 40 games and 39 starts, finishing second on the team in batting average, runs scored (46), hits (59), and on-base percentage (.510)... produced six doubles, two triples, one home run, 28 RBI, 72 total bases, and a .550 slugging percentage... went 11-for-12 on stolen base attempts... struck out only 11 times in 131 at-bats while also drawing 17 walks.

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Four-year varsity letter winner at Elkhorn South High School… served as team captain as a junior and senior… earned First Team All-Class All-State (2025), First Team Omaha World-Herald (2025), First Team Lincoln Journal Star (2025), and All-Metro First Team (2025)… named Greater Omaha Sports Committee Softball Scholar-Athlete of the Year (2025)… posted a .508 batting average with a .567 on-base percentage, 27 stolen bases, 32 RBI, and 53 runs scored as a senior… set school records for batting average, stolen bases, and runs scored, and tied the school record for triples… four-time academic all-state selection… played club softball for Nebraska Gold 18U National, finishing fifth at PGF Nationals… also competed in track and field, earning All-State honors and winning a state championship as the anchor of the 4x100 relay… holds school records in the 100m, 200m, and 4x100 relay… member of the National Honor Society and graduated with a 4.0 GPA.

PERSONAL
Tarisa Lynn Frans is the daughter of Brandon and Tracy Frans and has two younger sisters, Cora and Tendra… her mother, Tracy, played softball at Wichita State … she is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
