As a Junior (2015-16)
Clyne did not compete in any events her junior year.
As a Sophomore (2014-15)
Clyne competed in the 800 meters as a sophomore, placing a season-best eighth at the Southern Tier Collegiate Open. Outdoors, she was eighth at the Cornell Outdoor Invitational.
As a Freshman (2013-14)
Clyne ran to 33rd place at the season-opening race against Army (20:18.1) and took nearly 20 seconds off her time at the Anderson meet, where she finished 43rd with a time of 19:50.6.
Clyne followed her cross country season with a busy season on the track. She participated in the 600, 800, and 1000 individually, while also playing a key role in the 4x4. Her best 600 time came at the Nittany Lion Challenge, where she posted a 1:39.55 in a 12th place finish. She added a 1st place finish in the 800 two weeks later at the Ithaca College Quad Meet. The indoor season also witnessed her best 1000 of her debut season, as she marked a 3:05.12 in a 5th place finish at the Robert J. Kane Invitational. Outdoors, she posted her best 800 time of 2:17.67 at the Larry Ellis Invitational. She concluded the year at the Outdoor ECAC’s, helping the 4x8 team to a 14th place finish.
Before Cornell
One of New Jersey’s top middle distance talents, Clyne has personal bests of 57 seconds in the 400, 2:14.61 for 800 meters and 5:08 in the 1600. The Morris Hills school record holder in the 800, 1000 and 4x800, Clyne is a county champion and a top finisher at New Jersey’s Meet of Champions.
