Johnson ran in one race her freshman year, placing 35th at the Army-Binghamton tri-meet to start the season.

Before Cornell
Johnson was Riverside Country Runner of the year and is the Great Oaks school record-holder for 1600 and 3200 meters, and she placed third in the 3200 at CIF Finals in 2010. A terrific cross country runner, Johnson placed sixth at the Nike Cross Country Nationals in the open race in 2009.

Personal
Anna Elizabeth Johnson is the daughter of Doug and Cindy Johnson and has a twin sister Katie who is also on the team. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
