2022-23 I SOPHOMORE SEASON
Placed 12th in the 5k at the John Reif Invitational, running it in 19:43.0 minutes… took 52nd in the 6k with a 22:55.9 minute run at the LHU XC Invitational/ Open… finished 51st in the 6k with a 22:50.3 minute run at the Lehigh Paul Short Run (College).
2021-22 I FRESHMAN SEASON
Competed in three events as a freshman… ran a 22:49.1 for 27th at the Paul Short open race… finished the season with a 19:23.6 5K time for an eighth-place finish at the R.K. Munsey Invitational.
PRIOR TO CORNELL
Aided in a 2019 Cross Country State Championship… named cross country and track captain in 2019… 2019 NYS Cross Country All-star… Cross Country Midstate Athletic Conference Scholar Athlete Award (2019 and 2021)… recognized with the 2019 and 2021 NYS Section IV Character Counts Recognition Award… earned WCBO Cross Country Runner of the Year accolades… multi-sport athlete (track, xc, basketball)… 2018 NYS Basketball Champion… apart of the National Honor Society… earned a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do… was an Area All-State cellist.
PERSONAL
Cella MacRae Schnabel is the daughter of Rebecca Morgan and Gregory Schnabel… has three younger brothers… she is enrolled in the college of Engineering.
