2022-23 I JUNIOR SEASON
Placed 40th in the 6k at the Ivy League Heptagonal Cross Country Championships, running it in 22:24.4 minutes… finished in 38^th-place in the 6k with a 21:23.1 minute run at the NCAA Division 1 Northeast Region Cross Country Championships… earned third in the 3.11M with a 19:14.5 minute run at the Fordham Fiasco… took third in the 6k at the LHU XC Invitational/ Open, running it in 21:30.6 minutes… secured 16th in the 6k with a 21:49.0 minute run at the IC4A/ECAC XC Championship.

2021-22 I SOPHOMORE SEASON
Paced the Big Red with a 21:32 clocking over the 6,000-meter race to finish 33rd at NCAA Northeast Regionals... opened the season taking sixth at the Yellowjacket Invitational with a mark of 22:03.7… Just a short two weeks after her 22:03.7, she blew past her PR and dropped over 80 seconds off her time for a new PR of 21:03.7 ran at Paul Short (49th place).
 
2020-21 I FRESHMAN SEASON
Season cancelled due to COVID-19.

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Guided Friends Central School's DMR to indoor state titles in 2018 and 2020… helped Friends Central School to an indoor track and field state championship in 2020 and back-to-back outdoor state titles in 2018 and 2019… earned High School All-America honors in the outdoor 4x800-meter relay, as the team finished fourth at nationals in 2017… guided Friends Central School to three-straight indoor track and field league championships from 2017-19… two-year captain of Friends Central School's indoor and outdoor track and field teams… Also a four-year letterman on Friends Central School's soccer team… three-time first-team All-Friends School League honoree (2017-19) at forward… four-time All-Main Line selection on the soccer field (2016-19).

PERSONAL
Isabel “Izzy” Hayward MacFarlane is the daughter of Tom MacFarlane and Kathryn Hayward and has two older sisters… her entire family has been involved in college sports at Ivy League schools… her mom (Kathryn Hayward) and dad (Tom MacFarlane) are both 1988 Princeton graduates, with Kathryn having competed on the cross country and track and field teams and Tom having played on the rugby team… her sister, Lorna, currently plays soccer at Dartmouth, while her other sister, Sophie, played lacrosse for Brown… She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
