As a Senior (2017-18)
• Fifth in school history in outdoor 3000 (9:27.48).
• Competed at both Indoor and Outdoor Heps.
• Scored at Outdoor Heps with a sixth-place finish in the 1500 (4:25.14).
• Also placed 14th in the 5000 (17:13.34).
• Took 10th in the 3000 (9:59.74) and 11th in the 5000 (16:52.55) at Indoor Heps.
• NCAA East Preliminary Qualifier in the 1500, taking 36th overall (4:27.30).
• Tenth in the 1500 (4:27.14) at the ECAC Outdoor Championships.
• Two-time winner at the Upstate Challenge in the 1000 (2:54.42) and the 4x800 relay (9:14.60).
• Capped off cross country career with yet another standout season.
• Was a top-five scorer for Cornell in all four meets she ran in, beginning with a big runner-up finish at the quad meet with Columbia, Brown and NYU to cross the line first for the Big Red.
• At the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown, once again was the first Cornellian to complete the course, placing 14th overall in the stacked field.
• Followed that up with a 69th-place showing at the Paul Short Run to score fourth for the team and ended season earning All-Region honors by taking 21st overall and second for the squad at the NCAA Northeast Regional meet.
As a Junior (2016-17)
• Had a stellar junior cross country season that began with a fifth-place finish at the Spiked Shoe Invitational with a time of 21:14 over the 6K course, the second best ever by a Cornellian on the Penn State course.
• Also finished third at the Yellowjacket Invitational, 65th at the Penn State National, 28th at the Ivy League Heptagonal Cross Country Championships and 22nd at the NCAA Northeast Regional.
• On the track, had 18 top 10 performances.
• Finished fourth in the 3000 at the Ivy League Indoor Track and Field Championships and also won that event earlier in the season at the Southern Tier Collegiate Open.
• Outdoors, was third in the 1500 at the Larry Ellis Invitational and third in the 800 at the Big Red Outdoor Invitational.
• Finished 13th in the 1500 at outdoor Heps and was part of the seventh place 4x800 team.
As a Sophomore (2015-16)
• Had a strong sophomore campaign, beginning with a solid cross country season that included an individual win at the Canisius Alumni Classic.
• Finished 34th at Ivy League Cross Country Championships and qualified for NCAA Division I Northeast Region Championships, where she finished 60th.
• Was solid on the track as well, opening indoor season with a second-place finish in the 1000 meters at the Cornell Southern Tier Collegiate Open.
• In the 3K, was second at the Sykes & Sabock Challenge Cup and third at the Fastrack National Invite.
• At Ivy League Indoor Heptagonals, helped the distance medley relay team to a fourth-place finish and was fifth in the 3K.
• Opened the outdoor season with a second-place finish at the UC Riverside Invitational and a third-place finish at the UCLA Distance Carnival.
• Was ninth at Outdoor Heps in the 5K and eighth in the 1500.
• Also placed seventh in the 1500 at ECAC Championships.
As a Freshman (2014-15)
• Rounded out the scoring for the Big Red at the Princeton Invitational, finishing the 6K course in 24:16.
• Also finished 14
th at the John Reif Memorial Run with a 5K time of 19:01.9.
• On the track, won the 1000 at the Cornell Sunday Invitational, crossing the line in 3:00.20.
• At the Deneault Memorial, placed third (2:58.72) in the same event.
• The all-freshman 4x800 relay team of which she was a member broke the freshmen record at Indoor ECACs, finishing in 8:57.45.
Before Cornell
• A four-time state champion on the track, won the 2013 New Mexico state cross country title and has a personal best of 4:43.20 for 1500 meters and 18:50 for 5K cross country.
Personal
• Jacqueline Anne Katzman is the daughter of Jeffrey and Joanna Katzman.
• She has two younger brothers, Will and Neil.
• Her mother played varsity tennis for Stanford University.
• She has three relatives: an uncle, Richard Perlmutter, and cousins, Ruby and Sam, who attended Cornell University.
