As a Sophomore (2012-13)
Williams did not run cross country during her sophomore year.

As a Freshman (2011-12)
Williams began her Cornell career running unattached in the Binghamton-Army tri-meet, but she took fourth place overall. She continued to impress at the Yellowjacket Invitational, where she placed second overall and was the top Big Red runner. Williams then placed 45th at the Heptagonal Championships to close out her season.

Williams had a terrific beginning to her track career at Cornell, too, taking second place in the Indoor Heps 800-meter run. She was the only freshman who scored in that race. Williams was part of the Outdoor Heps third-place 4x800 relay team, running the second leg and helping Cornell score six points. She also set the school freshman record in the 800 with a time of 2:10.53, and her name is in the school record book as part of the indoor 4x800 relay team that finished in 8:45.20.

Before Cornell
Williams has won Welsh National titles at 400, 800, 1500, 3000 and 5000 meters and brings great range to the Big Red team. The all-time Welsh junior record-holder indoors in the 800 and 1500, Williams has finished as high as second at the indoor United Kingdom Junior Championships and fourth at the Outdoor Junior Championships in the 800 meters.

Personal
Jade Williams is the daughter of Donna and Hayden Williams and has a little sister. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
