A 2:13 800 runner, McKenna has emerged as one of the best middle distance talents in Pennsylvania. She competed in both cross country and track and field for four years at Pennridge.

Marie Evelyn McKenna is the daughter of Walter and Barbara McKenna and has an older brother. She is enrolled in the College of Human Ecology.
