At Cornell: Mononucleosis forced Daniels to miss her junior year of competition, but she returns healthy and excited for her senior campaign. She proved to be among the league’s elite 800m runners as a sophomore, making the 800m final and scoring at the indoor Heps and qualifying for the ECACs in the indoor and outdoor 800m. A reliable relay runner throughout her career, she ran well in helping the Big Red to second in the 4x800m at the indoor ECACs. Twice a Heps scorer as an individual, Daniels has competed at the NCAA Regional Championships, earned All-East honors and was a part of the Cornell team’s trip to the United Kingdom in the summer of 2006. Robin also ran on the school freshmen record-setting Distance Medley Relay indoors, holds the school freshman record at 800m and is in the school’s all-time top 10 in the outdoor 800.

At Brick Township HS: Daniels was the runner-up at the New Jersey Meet of Champions in the 800m as a senior and ran on Brick’s nationally ranked distance medley relay squad.

Personal: Robin Marie Daniels is the daughter of Susan Peltier and James Daniels and has three younger brothers and three younger sisters.
