PRIOR TO CORNELL
Competed in track and field and cross country for four years at Framingham High School… posted personal-best times of 1:32.85 in the 600 meters, 2:11.29 in the 800 meters and 2:55.37 in the 1,000 meters… recorded a personal-best time of 18:17.4 in the 5K… member of the National Honor Society.

PERSONAL
Sasha Lamakina is the daughter of Cara Lamakina and Kiryl Lamakin… has one sister, Daria… her grandmother, Alla Smirnova (Lamakina), was an elite Soviet track and field athlete who competed internationally in the long jump and short sprints… Smirnova was ranked No. 11 in the world in the long jump in 1971 and represented the USSR in multiple USSR-USA dual meets… she is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
