As a Senior (2012-13)
Markolovic competed at the Yellowjacket Invitational in early September, taking 23rd place for the Big Red. She also placed 35th at the Paul Short Open Race later in the month, and she competed in her third race of the season at the John Reif Memorial Run where she took 15th.

On the track, Markolovic ended her career with a personal best in the 800 indoors at the Cortland Winter Invite. She had a seasonal best of 5:41.59 in the mile at the Upstate Challenge in January.

As a Junior (2011-12)
Markolovic ran in four races as a junior, taking 25th place at the Army-Binghamton tri-meet to open the season, finishing 34th at Colgate, taking 32nd at the open race of the Paul Short Run and ending her year in 14th place at the Yellowjacket Invitational.

As a Freshman and Sophomore (2009-10)
Suzana improved steadily throughout her Cornell career and found success in the steeplechase as a sophomore, winning the 2011 Upstate Challenge and the 2011 Big Red Invite.

Before Cornell
Markolovic earned all-county honors in cross country, 1000m and at 800m while in high school, twice capturing team county championships and once being a part of a New Jersey state parochial championship team.

Personal
Susana Markolovic is the daughter of Djuro and Kjara Markolovic and has two younger sisters. She is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
