• Transferred in for the spring 2020 semester.
• Recorded five top-five placements, competing in only six different events.
• Assisted her 4x800 relay team to a first-place finish at the Upstate Challenge (1/25).
• Finished first at the Kane Invitational (2/1).

Prior to Cornell

• Competed for Army West Point
• Also played lacrosse and soccer in high school.

Personal 

• Sydney Wise Smith is the daughter of Michael and Jill Smith.
• Has two younger siblings, a brother, Jackson, and a sister, Aidan.
• Both her mother and father competed in track and field at Bucknell University, her father was also on the cross country team.
• Enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
