First team All-GEC in all-around with a 38.485 NQS… delivered 15 scores of 9.700 or higher across all four apparatuses… competed in the all-around in six meets, claiming the all-around title at Sacramento State… set career-high of 9.875 on the floor at the Empire St. Collegiate Championship to place second… competed on the bars for the first time this season setting her career-high of 9.725 at West Chester… named a GEC Scholar-Athlete.

2023-24 | FRESHMAN SEASON
Saw action in beam, floor, and vault lineup during every regular season meet as well as GEC Championships and USAG Collegiate Nationals Semifinals ... made Big Red debut with 9.450 on vault at Lindsey Ferris Invitational ... saw bulk of action on vault with eight scores of 9.600 or better, including season-high 9.800 at Chelli Calloway Invite ... competed in floor lineup for five meets, posting season-best 9.850 to take share of individual title at Penn tri-meet and tie for fourth at Ivy Classic ... had three scores of 9.800 or better on beam with best score of 9.875 coming at GEC Championships ... grabbed GEC Newcomer of the Week honors for performance at Penn tri-meet ... named a GEC and USAG Scholar-Athlete.

PRIOR TO CORNELL
Byun was the Level 10 SoCal state champion while competing for Wildfire Gymnastics and attending Tesoro HS ... took seventh in the all-around at the 2023 Level 10 Junior Olympic Nationals (38.325) ... placed in the top 10 at Level 10 JO Nationals on vault, beam and floor ...finished 14th in the all-around at the 2022 regional.
