Grace Hemenway, an experienced clinician at the state and regional level, joined the Big Red as a volunteer assistant coach and choreographer during the fall of 2013.
Hemenway came to Ithaca after serving as the Director of Sports Academy Gymnastics in Beaufort, S.C. from 2006-13. She served as co-head coach and choreographer of the for their competitive team, leading a number of individuals to state titles and regional level 8 and 9 competitions every year during her tenure.
She was a competitive dancer and gymnast through high school before attending Johnson and Wales Culinary School to study culinary arts.
Hemenway and her husband, Gunnery Sergeant Scott Hemenway USMC, have two children, Taylor and Scottie.
