Chosen as the team's Jill Ryer Leadership Award ... competed in a pair of meets, on bards at the Cortland tri-meet and on beam against West Chester ... scored a 9.500 on beam in her final collegiate appearance ... named a GEC Scholar-Athlete..
2021-22 I JUNIOR SEASON
Did not see varsity action.
2020-21 I SOPHOMORE SEASON
Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
2019-20 I FRESHMAN SEASON
Competed on the bars in eight of the season’s nine meets ... also saw action on the balance beam once ... made her varsity debut with a 9.55 on the bars on Jan. 19 ... averaged an 8.994 on the bars and a 9.125 on the beam.
PRIOR TO CORNELL
Has been competing as a Level 10 gymnast since 2014 while attending Ward Melville HS ... tied for bronze on vault at the New York State Championships and was 10th on vault at the Region 6 Championships in 2017 ... placed fourth on bars at the state meet while finishing seventh at regionals in 2018 ... won gold on bars at the 2018 Niagara Cup.

Darby Sophia Kent is the daughter of Robert and Stella Kent and has an older brother and sister and a younger sister ... she is enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
